Standard on the Super Duty® XL and XLT F-450/F-550 Chassis Cabs, the 6.8L is the only V10 gas engine of its kind available in its class.* The 6.8L V10, with features such as a free-breathing 3-valve-per-cylinder induction system, continues building its reputation as a dependable powerplant with its impressive 362 horsepower and 457 lb.-ft. of torque. It's mated to a 5-speed TorqShift® automatic transmission. You'll be interested to know that a CNG/LPG Gaseous Engine Prep Package for power conversion to compressed natural gas (CNG) or liquid propane gas (LPG) is available on the 6.8L V10. Included are hardened engine intake valves plus exhaust valves and valve seats.**

**Vehicle will be equipped with the standard factory gasoline fuel system. This package does not include CNG/LPG fuel tanks, lines, etc.
The available Electronic Locking Rear Differential, when engaged, helps provide excellent off-road traction in F-350 single rear-wheel models, 4x2 or 4x4, by locking the rear axle completely to maximize traction on both wheels simultaneously.
